We are delighted to introduce you to Bellpads, an adorable Morris Bear and one of the first to be made in this smaller 4" size. We made our first Morris Bear last summer and he was 5 1/2" tall, the small version is slightly different in style but has the distinctive Morris Man details, the handkerchiefs, ribbons around the legs and a ribbon decorated hat. As there is no room on him for bells the bell is hidden under his hat so he does jangle when moved. I realise this bear is a little more than we usually charge for our small bears but there is hours of work in him, a lot of finishing detail so I hope you understand that we had to charge a little more for him. Bellpads is made from gorgeous crimson backed, black mohair which we have used for his trousers, his upper body and arms are short white Schulte mohair and he has a gold mohair head and ears. We have given him a pale teal coloured felt waistcoat and hat, he is decorated with lime green, purple, orange and turquoise ribbon. Steel shot filled for weight, he has shiny black English glass eyes and a pale green stitched nose. He is very sweet, I do hope that you like him, Bellpads costs £70 plus postage.
