"Chios"

This lovely bear is called Chios and he is our latest Woolyback Bear. He is 5 1/2" tall and made from short, soft, light brown German mohair combined with longer, luxuriously soft apple green hand dyed mohair which has been used for his ears, the back of his head and his back. Our Woolyback Bears are inspired by a local historical story, in medieval times people would try and avoid the charge of entering Chester City Walls on market day by sneaking through the livestock entrance with a sheep on their back, they became known as Woolybacks! We loved this story so much that we designed a collection after it. Chios has light brown ultrasuede pads and paws, a dark green stitched nose and a black belly button.
