"Benbecula"
This sweet boy was finished just this morning, he is called Benbecula after one of the islands of the Outer Hebrides because he is a Tweedie Ted, in addition he is made in the Blazer Boy style. The tweed we have used is in shades of blue, green and plum and we have combined it with short, velvety soft dusky pale plum coloured mohair and it looks great. The tweed is used for his pads, paws, inner ears and blazer, we have given him a tweed inspired stitched nose, shiny black English glass eyes and steel shot filling for weight. He also has three star shaped belly buttons down the front of his blazer in shades of turquoise. We love Harris Tweed, it makes gorgeous bears, comes in beautiful colours and we love the fact that every stage of it's production takes place on the islands of the Outer Hebrides and it is protected by an Act of Parliament. I do hope that you like Benbecula, to see larger photos of him click on the link above to our Instagram account and then his picture. He costs £55 plus postage.
Please note that as with all our bears, Benbecula is not a toy and is not suitable for children.
