Look at that sweet face! This is Texel, another bear showing that we love to do subtle as well as bright and bold, he is part of our new Woolyback Collection and he is just gorgeous. He is 5 1/2" tall and is made of short, natural mohair with a short, slightly tufted texture in ivory and we have combined this with beautiful pale turquoise alpaca with a soft, wooly texture. The alpaca has been used to make his ears, the back of his head and his back, we have given him ivory cashmere pads and paws, shiny black English glass eyes and a black stitched nose. Our Woolyback Collection is inspired by the name given in medieval times to people who tried to avoid the cost of entering through Chester City Walls on market day, they would sneak through the livestock entrance with a sheep on their back! Texel is firmly filled and has a nice weight with steel shot in his tummy, as you can see, he is really beautiful, I do hope you like him. Texel costs £58 plus postage.
