Sitting here typing this on a perfect English summer day in glorious Cheshire countryside with blue skies and a gentle breeze I am fully aware that in Ukraine there are people sheltering from bullets and living in terror and bombed out buildings with nothing to eat and no fresh water. On our last Newsletter we offered for adoption a bear called Sunflower and we sent the proceeds to www.donorbox.org/teddy a fundraising initiative set up by Teddy Bear fair organisers to help Ukrainian teddy bear and doll artists with food, medicines, clothing and travel. Their aim is to raise 20,000 euros and to date they have made 18,742.47 euros. We would love to help try and push them over the line and so offer you Bluebell, a sweet 4" Millinery Girl made from stringy blue and short butter yellow mohair with the most magnificent hat. This is made from blue cashmere with a blue fading to white ribbon and ribbon flowers in shades of blue and cream. Bluebell is steel shot filled for weight, has blue cashmere pads and butter yellow cashmere paws, her nose is stitched in blue thread and she has shiny black English glass eyes. I do hope that you like her, she costs £55 plus postage and if she is adopted we will send a £55 donation to the above appeal. Please help us to help the appeal.
