Say hello to Douglas, the first of our new Tartan Teds - isn't he gorgeous? He is 5 1/2" tall and is made of vibrant, bright yellow hand dyed German mohair with a flat, straight pile which has a gorgeous sheen. We have used the fur for his lower body, head and the back of his ears whilst his arms, legs, upper body and ear fronts are made from tartan fabric in shades of black, dark green, blue, white, yellow and red. The effect is really striking and this is enhanced by the bright yellow ultrasuede used for his pads and paws, he really is a vision of colour! Douglas has been firmly filled with steel shot so he has a good weight, he has shiny black English glass eyes, a red belly button and a tartan inspired stitched nose in threads of dark green, red and yellow. We loved making him and have lots more Tartan Teds planned in different colours. Douglas costs £55 plus postage.
