"Penny"

We haven't made any wobble jointed bears for ages and so I decided to make a few, Penny is one of the first. She is part of our Coins Collection and is around 4" tall. We have made her from straight, whispy, quite sparse Hembold mohair in a lovely shade of pale wheat gold. Her tummy and ears are made from longer, peach German mohair with a silky, quite dense wavy pile and it makes a great contrast to the gold fur. Her pads and paws are very pale peach cashmere, she has a peach coloured ribbon flower over her right ear, a peach stitched nose and shiny black English glass eyes. We have filled her with steel shot so she has a lovely weight, her arms are loosely jointed whilst her legs and head are wobble jointed so they feel very loose making Penny floppy and heavy, a great combination. I just love her, I hope you do too. Penny costs £44 plus postage.
