"Tribex"
Meet Tribex, isn't he lovely? He is one of our hand painted Freestyle Bears and started off totally white. His fur is South African white Loom State mohair, meaning it is as it came off the loom, uncoloured and untreated, until we got it! Steve has applied a light wash of red colouring on the fur which gives it a warm glow. The pile is quite tufted and spiky so the colour has adhered more to the pile and left the backing paler. His white ultrasuede pads and paws have also received a very light wash of the same colour, we have given him a red stitched nose, a red belly button and shiny black English glass eyes. In style Tribex is quite distinctive and is one of the first patterns we designed ourselves when we started out nearly 17 years ago. (Where have all the years gone?!) He has a slim body, long curved slim arms, quite short legs with round feet and footpads. We weight his feet and paws with steel shot so that he sits well with his paws between his feet, he is around 5 1/2" tall, has quite a long snout and his ears are set high on the top of his head. I hope you like him, I just love him, he is such a gorgeous colour and he makes me smile. Tribex costs £50 plus postage.
Please note that as with all our bears, Tribex is not a toy and is not suitable for children.
