"Helm"

I find purple a really difficult colour to photograph, I have twiddled with the colour on these pictures to try and make them more like the real bear but they still don't do justice to Helm's gorgeous rich colour. The purple fur is short, dense, South African mohair with a glossy sheen. His pads and paws are creamy yellow cashmere and the fur used for his head is purple backed, wheat gold mohair with a sparse, stringy, straight pile which makes great hair! In style Helm is a Stumpy, around 5" tall with a long rounded body, very short legs with round footpads and short arms. He is heavily filled with steel shot and has a cream heart shaped belly button. As you can see, Helm has a lot of character, he is the latest bear in our new Coins Collection. The Helm was a 1/4 Florin introduced by Edward lll in around 1344 but it did not last long and was withdrawn after only a few months. I hope that you like him, he is a very sweet bear with a gorgeous face. Helm costs £43 plus postage.
