We are delighted to introduce you to Luitpold, a gorgeous 8" bear made from hand dyed turquoise mohair which is really soft and slightly curly. We have combined this with denim blue Schulte mohair for his tummy and ears, this fur is dense, straight, incredibly soft and very luxurious. In style Luitpold has long bent legs which make him perfect for sitting on the edge of a table or shelf, long curved arms, a very rounded tummy and a long snout. We have filled his arms and legs partly with glass beads and a little steel shot so he has a nice weight but his tummy is filled with rubber pellets which gives him a really cuddly squashy feel - gorgeous! His pads and paws are cashmere and we have given him stitched claws in the same deep turquoise thread as his stitched nose. He has shiny black English glass eyes and a toning turquoise belly button. I do hope you like him, we haven't made any bears in this style for a while so we really enjoyed making Luitpold. He costs £75 plus postage.
