"Albertine"

There is quite a lot of bright colour in our latest bears as I am on a mission to banish the January blues, but for those of you who prefer bears to be a little more subtle, we have Albertine. He is made of short, dense, velvety soft South African mohair which has a velvet texture and is a beautiful deep bottle green colour. For his tummy and ears we have used mushroom backed German mohair with a light brown pile. The fur is straight, quite long with a gorgeous soft, luxurious texture, pale at the roots it is tipped in deep golden brown and it looks lovely with the dark green, the colours of nature. His pads and paws are toning deep green ultrasuede, his nose is stitched in dark brown thread, he has shiny black English glass eyes and a dark green belly button. He is filled with steel shot for weight and is the second bear in our new Species of Owl Collection. The Albertine Owlet is a small owl which can be found in a forest in east central Africa. As Albertine is made in the colours of a forest it seemed appropriate. I do hope you like him, he costs £45 plus postage.
