This adorable chap is Congo, he is 5 1/2" tall and is a brown bear with a subtle difference. At first glance he just looks like a lovely brown bear but the longer, soft, luxurious fur used for his tummy and ears is brown tipped mohair with a fantastic coral coloured backing fabric. The backing shows through the brown colours making Congo just a little different. The pile is pale fawn towards the root and dark at the tip, it is straight and incredibly soft. He has dark brown ultrasuede pads and paws, shiny black English glass eyes and we have stitched his nose in toning coral coloured thread. Filled with steel shot he has a good weight for his size and he is the first bear in our new collection - Species of Owl. Did you know that there are over 225 species of owl in the world? I didn't until I did a little reading. Congo is named after the Congo Bay Owl from eastern central Africa. He costs £45 plus postage, I do hope that you like him.
