"Black Caesar"

As you can see, Black Caesar is a very sweet looking bear and as part of our Pieces of Eight Collection he is named after a Pirate, but surely he's too cute to be bad - what do you think? Black Caesar was active as a pirate in the the early 18th Century and was a lieutenant to Blackbeard. Our Black Caesar is 5 1/2" tall and is made of short, tufted, deep black South African mohair which we have used for his ears, arms and legs. His head is made of very short, soft, white Hembold mohair and his body is made of eight pieces of mohair and alpaca all in different colours. We have given him deep black cashmere pads and paws, a mauve stitched nose highlighted in dark red thread, he has shiny black English glass eyes and a yellow belly button. With his steel shot and steel ball filling he is a good weight for his size. I really love these bears, they are good fun to make and look great, I hope you like him too.
