You may have read elsewhere about our new range called "Pieces of Eight", well this is Henriquez and he is the first 5 1/2" bear to be added to the Collection. All these bears are named after Pirates because of the Pieces of Eight connection and they are called Pieces of Eight because their body is made of eight pieces of fur. Henriquez is made of lovely tufted, soft, pale grey mohair which we have used for his arms, legs and ears. His head is made of short, velvety soft white mohair which we have hand dyed with pale blue splodges of colour. His body is made of silky soft Schulte mohair in bright red and turquoise blue and it is stitched together in the Harlequin style. He has pale grey ultrasuede pad and paws, a red and blue stitched nose and siny black English glass eyes. We have filled him with steel shot and steel balls so he is a nice weight for his size. I really love this bear, I like the Pieces of Eight style and I think he has an adorable little face. I hope you like him too, he costs £47 plus postage.
