This adorable bundle of fluff is Douglas, he is named after the river of the same name which flows through Manchester and Lancashire. Douglas is 3 1/2" tall and is made of two contrasting types of fur. His head, ears and arms are made of short, velvety soft, pale grey alpaca, from a new range of short alpaca fur in a selection of lovely colours. His legs and body are made of much longer, hand dyed, tufted German mohair in a pretty shade of apple green. He has pale grey ultrasuede paws and apple green cashmere pads, a green stitched nose, shiny black English glass eyes and a pale grey and white polka-dot belly button. Filled with steel shot Douglas has a nice weight despite his small size and he has a lovely gentle epxression. I really like this style of bear, I like the contrast of the short fur and long fur, the fluffy body and the neat head and arms. I hope you like him too, he costs £40 plus postage.
