"Patchwork Pomona"

This bear is just good fun! He is 8" tall and is called Patchwork Pomona and as you can see he is very colourful with a really lovely face. We have used straight, white, quite thick stringy German mohair for his head and body and this shows off the gorgeous colours of his arms, legs and ears which are made in a selection of bright, cheerful, long, soft, dense plush fur. He has one deep pink leg and the back of one ears matches this, the other leg is deep blue and the back of the other ear matches that. This fur is very dense, quite long and is very slightly tipped in black. For his arms we have used silky soft pale lilac and soft apricot fur and the fronts of his ears match these colours. He has toning ultrasuede paws and cashmere pads, a deep blue belly button and shiny black English glass eyes. We have stitched his nose and wide happy smile in deep blue thread and decorated his nose in deep pink thread. Patchwork Pomona is firmly filled with a little steel shot, plastic pellets and polyester so he has some weight. I think he is gorgeous although I wasn't at all convinced when Steve cut him out. It was only when he was stuffed that he started to look really good. I hope you like him too, he costs £65 plus postage.
