"Gilpin"

This lovely little bear is Gilpin, he is 5 1/2" tall and he is made of two shades of the same type of felted Hembold mohair. His tummy and ears are made of dark brown backed, mushroom coloured mohair whist for the rest of him we have used brown backed, gold mohair. The two shades work well together and look great. He has toning gold ultrasuede pads and paws, a black stitched nose, shiny black English glass eyes and a cream belly button. In style Gilpin has long very slim arms, short legs with round footpads, a slim body and a long snout. His ears are stitched flat on top of his head, he is weighted with steel shot in his arms and legs so that he sits nicely with his paws between his feet and whilst he has a little steel shot in his tummy, he is still quite soft. We have named Gilpin after the River of the same name which can be found in the County of Cumbria, he costs £45 plus postage. I do hope that you like him, he is very sweet.
