"Darwen"

We would like to introduce you to Darwen, a gentle little bear made in really pretty mohair. He is 3 1/2" tall and is made of sparse, straight, quite short white mohair which we have used for his head and body. His arms, legs and ears are made of thicker, soft German mohair hand dyed in shades of yellow, green and a little bit of pink. It is very lovely mohair, quiet gentle shades but it makes Darwen a special little bear. He has pale green cashmere pads and paws, a green stitched and varnished nose and small, shiny, black English glass eyes. We have filled him with steel shot to give him some weight and he has a sage green belly button. We have named this lovely little bear Darwen after the River Darwen which can be found in the Lancashire town of the same name. I do hope you like him, he really is lovely. Darwen costs £39 plus postage.
