Say hi to Rothay, a very chilled, laid back 6" bear made of the most gorgeous deep fox red, brown backed mohair. The fur is quite long and straight, soft and the most gorgeous colour. We have given him perfectly toning cashmere pads and paws, a black stitched nose and shiny black English glass eyes. In style, Rothay has long straight arms, quite short legs with big feet and tapered footpads, a slim body, small ears and a very sweet face. He is heavily filled with steel shot and quite loosely jointed and he sort of slouches, very chilled! He is part of our new Rivers Collection, his name translates from the Old Norse as "the red one" which seems to suit him exactly. River Rothay is in the Lake District, it flows through both Grasmere and Rydal Water and through St Oswald's Churchyard where Wordsworth lies buried. Rothay costs £55 plus postage.
