"Oscar"

I know I'm biased, but I just love this little bear. He is 3 1/2" tall and is made in two very different types of mohair. His head, arms and ears are made of dark gold backed, very short, tufted South African mohair in a dark shade of brown whilst his body and legs are made of much longer, white Schulte mohair. The pile is very tufted and quite sparse with a blunt cut finish, it makes a really great body, like very fluffy dungarees and I love the contrast in texture of the two types of fur. Oscar is part of our Mythology Collection, the name is derived from the Gaelic and possibly means "deer friend". He has white cashmere pads and pale beige ultrasuede paws, a black stitched nose and shiny black English glass eyes. We have filled him with steel shot so although he is only little, he is quite heavy. I hope you like him, I think he is incredibly sweet. Oscar costs £39 plus postage.
