Bygone Boys are our Collection of old fashioned bears inspired by the style of bears from the past, they have a long snout, long slim arms and legs and a more pronounced hump. This is Stafford, a gorgeous 5 1/2" example and the first one we have made for ages. He is made of lovely short, quite sparse, stubbley wheat gold South African mohair which looks quite coarse but is very soft to the touch. We have combined this with very pale lime green cashmere pads and paws, he has a sparse stitched nose, shiny black English glass eyes and black stitched claws. We have heavily filled him with steel shot and steel balls so he has a good weight for his size. I do hope that you like him, he costs £45 plus postage.
