Two new North West Teddy Fairs!
(August 27, 2013)We are delighted to let you know that the organisers of the Rivington Bear Fair have managed to find a new venue for the Autumn fair as they are no longer able to book the Rivington venue twice a year. We were all reconciled to only doing one fair a year in the Bolton area, but happily that is not to be. The new fair is to be held on Sunday November 10th at The Mercure Bolton Georgian House Hotel which is very easy to find on the A6 Chorley Road at Blackrod near Bolton. The fair will be open from 10am to 4pm and is £2.50 for entry.
We are really pleased with this news as the Rivington fair has always been a great favourite and we were sad that it was only to be held once a year. I am sure this new venue for the Autumn fair will be a success and we look forward to seeing you all there. If you would like more details, just let us know.
As well as this, there is to be another new fair in the North West on Sunday 1st December at The Masonic Guild Hall in Stockport. This is a great venue for a bear fair, a beautiful building really easy to get to on the A6 Wellington Road. There is free parking behind the building and the fair is open from 10am to 3.30pm. I do hope that those of you in the North West area are able to support these two new fairs as the organisers work really hard to arrange them and we all want Bear Fairs to continue to be a success.
