Royal Mail strikes.
(November 24, 2022)As you will know Royal Mail have more strike dates planned between now and Christmas but we are continuing to use them to send out our bears.
We are sending individual bears using their 24 Hour Tracked service because we can see exactly where the parcel is at each stage, it should arrive next day (although at the moment it is taking longer than that) and it includes insurance up to £100. You can select this option at Checkout, last posting date for this service is Monday December 19th.
For multiple purchases we are using Special Delivery by 1pm which is fully insured and should arrive next day. Royal Mail are prioritising both these services thoughout the strikes, we try and post on days where the parcels have time to arrive before the next strike day. If any adjustment is needed to the amount paid, too much or too little, we will of course let you know. Last posting day for this service is Wednesday 21st December.
Even if it is a single bear, if you are happy to pay for Special Delivery, we are quite happy to use this service which for a small 4" bear currently costs £7.15.
As at Thursday 15th, all the bears we have sent so far (except the one posted on Tuesday 13th) have arrived safely. If you are not worried about receiving the bear before Christmas and still want to order a Christmas bear, then that is fine, we are happy to carry on making them if people want to order them.
