New Event - The Berwick Bear Fair.
We love to do new fairs and always try and support them if we can. This fair is being held in the Guild Hall Town Hall of the beautiful border town of Berwick-Upon-Tweed in gorgeous Northumberland. It is on Saturday 21st April and is open from 10.30am to 4.30pm. Although we are not familiar with either the venue or Berwick itself we have looked at photo's of both and they look lovely. There are free car parks a short walk away from the venue and there is a market on a Saturday held just outside the Town Hall, so as well as the fair and all the gorgeous new bears we will have with us, there will be lots to enjoy so you can make a day of it. We are hoping for nice Spring weather and sunshine would be wonderful! I do hope some of you can come, we would love to see you there. It is great for collectors in the far north of England and in Scotland that a new fair is starting in this area. We always get such good support at the Troon fair in November, it will be lovely to head north in the Spring instead of the Autumn and maybe some of our loyal Scottish collectors will be able to make the trip south to be there.
The fair is being held to raise funds for the Berwick District Cancer Support Group who provide free transport for patients who need cancer treatment at hospitals over 60 miles away, a fantastic cause I am sure you will agree.
If you need any more details or directions, please just let us know. We hope to see you there!
